#6 Academic dishonesty

I think that everyone some time in there school life has been a little dishonest. I have been so far in college. But there was a couple times in high school were i copied some of my friends assingment right before class cause i had forgot about and it was do at the beginning of class. But i have learned from my mistake of cheating that it is not a very smart thing to do for many different reasons. The first reason is because it is wrong to use someone elses work and get the grade that they earned. We all get the assingment so we can all earn are own grade. Not so we can just copy someone elses hard work. Another reason is because they do make cheating a rule for a reason, if you copy someones paper then you get a test or a surprize quiz then you don't know the answers and end up making a bad grade for that paper which test and quizes are usually worth more pionts then a homework paper. So it is a lose, lose situration when cheat. You don't get the knowledge that you needed to be able to pass that test. Not only that but teachers teach you thing for a reason not to just torment you, and if they teach it to you it probaly means that you are going to need to know that for something in the future or in a future class. Most of the time learning things come in steps. What i mean by that is most of the time you learn things that you are going to have to know how to do for other things that you will learn. It is like trying to put a computer stand together. If you are reading the directions and you just decide to skip over the first 2 steps there is no way that you can do any of the other steps cause you needed those 2 steps to be able to do the rest.
